Nigeria has congratulated Ghana on its 68th Independence Anniversary, reaffirming its commitment to strengthening diplomatic and economic relations between the two nations.
In a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Thursday, Minister Ambassador Yusuf Maitama Tuggar praised Ghana’s democratic progress, economic development, and role in maintaining regional stability. He highlighted the deep historical and cultural connections between the two West African countries and expressed hope for continued peace and prosperity.
“Nigeria remains committed to deepening cooperation with Ghana in trade, education, security, and regional integration,” the statement read.
As two of Africa’s largest economies, Nigeria and Ghana have long-standing ties in various sectors, including commerce, education, and governance. The renewed pledge for collaboration signals efforts to enhance regional partnerships and economic growth across West Africa.
