Nigeria Denounces Terrorist Attack in Mali, Offers Condolences to Victims’ Families
Nigeria has strongly condemned the recent terrorist attack in Bamako, Mali, on September 17, 2024.
The attack, which targeted a military airport, training center, and other sensitive locations, resulted in loss of life and destruction of several military aircraft ¹.
The terrorist group Jama’at Nusrat al-Islam (JNIM) claimed responsibility for the attack, which is believed to be an attempt to undermine the legitimacy of the Malian junta and reduce support for the government.
