Abuja, Nigeria – In a press statement released on Tuesday, April 23rd, Nigerian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Yusuf Maitama Tuggar, emphasised the critical role of the newly appointed Chargé D’affaires and Consuls General in driving the nation’s economic growth under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration.

Ambassador Abubakar Jidda, the newly appointed Consul General for the Consulate in New York, expressed his and his colleagues’ commitment to upholding the profession’s values and attracting much-needed investment to the nation.

Jidda also expressed gratitude to President Tinubu and the Ministry’s leadership for their trust in the new appointees. The statement concluded by announcing that the new appointees will assume their roles immediately.
The new appointees are to resume immediately.
