Nigerian music superstar Burna Boy is embarking on his largest-ever North American tour. During the tour, Burna Boy is due to perform in 16 cities across the United States and Canada, showcasing his unique blend of Afrobeats, dancehall and hip-hop.
The highly anticipated tour, aimed at celebrating his latest studio album “No Sign of Weakness”, is scheduled to run from 12 November 2025 to mid-January 2026.
The tour announcement follows his recent appearance on a TV show, where he reflected on Afrobeats’ global success.
He described the genre’s rising global appeal as a “return to the source”, stating, “the starting point of everything is Africa, including music.”
Burna Boy’s music pedigree for global domination is undeniable. A Grammy Award winner for his Twice as Tall album, he also boasts a Brit Award, multiple Music of Black Origin Awards (MOBOs), and massive Billboard hits like “Last Last”.
He made history as the first African artist to headline sold-out shows at New York’s Madison Square Garden and Citi Field.
He has also consistently positioned his music as “Afro-fusion”, a label he defines as more expansive and politically conscious than “Afrobeats”, sparking industry-wide debate.
