The Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulation Commission (NUPRC) has debunked rumours of an ongoing recruitment peddled on social media.
The Commission in a disclaimer notice made available to SummitPost on Friday evening, described the information as inaccurate and misleading.
The NUPRC stated that all legitimate job openings are communicated through its official website, while urging the general public to thread with caution, to avoid being defrauded.
“It has come to our attention that false information regarding employment opportunities at NUPRC has been circulating in various media channels. We wish to clarify that the Commission has not issued any recent job advertisements.
“Reports suggesting ongoing recruitment activities at NUPRC are inaccurate and misleading. Our official website and recognized recruitment platforms communicate all legitimate job openings.
“NUPRC upholds the highest standards of transparency and integrity in its recruitment processes. For accurate and reliable information regarding employment opportunities at NUPRC, please refer to our official website: www.nuprc.gov.ng
“We urge the general public to authenticate the source of information relating to recruitment to avoid being scammed,” the NUPRC stated.
