Ogbakor Ikwerre Cultural Organization Disclaims Social Media Report on Senator Mbata
Ogbakor Ikwerre Cultural Organization Worldwide has disclaimed a social media report allegedly issued by its President-General, Eze Barr. Godspower Onuekwa, condemning Senator Mbata’s actions. The organization stated that it was not aware of the report and did not consent to its publication.
According to Chief Emeuru Festus, the Leadership of Ogbakor Ikwerre has addressed the issue of Senator Mbata’s involvement in the Ohanaeze Ndigbo election, which incorrectly presented him as the President-General of the Igbo Ethnic Nation. The organization views the social media report as baseless, frivolous, and unethical.
“We urge the general public to discountenance the social media report,” said National Publicity Secretary Olco Worldwide. The organization has emphasized its commitment to upholding the integrity and values of the Ikwerre people.
Ogbakor Ikwerre Cultural Organization Worldwide, founded in 1963, serves as the apex socio-cultural body for the Ikwerre Ethnic Nation. The organization aims to promote and preserve the rich cultural heritage of the Ikwerre people.
The organization’s leadership has expressed concern over the misuse of its name and the President-General’s image. “It has become worrisome that the media report was forged by unknown hooligans who deliberately used the name of Ogbakor Ikwerre President-General to commit the unholy act,” said Chief Emeuru Festus.
The group called on the public to be vigilant and to verify information before sharing or reacting to it. The organization remains committed to promoting the values and interests of the Ikwerre people, and it will continue to work towards preserving the rich cultural heritage of the Ikwerre Ethnic Nation.
