Okpella Kingdom Appoints New Officials to Drive Development
The Okuokpellagbe of Okpella, His Royal Highness Engr Lukman Akemokue, has approved the appointment of several officials to support the throne in achieving the New Okpella Project. This project aims to drive development and growth in the kingdom.
According to a press statement released on November 26, 2024, the appointed officials include Hon. Jide Marcus as Principal Private Secretary, Chief Yekini Musa as Principal Public Relations Assistant, and three Special Assistants: Hon. Philip A Odekhale, Hon. Braimah Omokhogie, and Hon. Otinomo Dirisu Blessing.
Additionally, Her Royal Highness Mrs. Blessing Akemokue has recommended the appointment of several officials to support Women Empowerment and Girl-Child Development initiatives. These officials include Hajia Hadiza Afegbua (NYSC) as Chairperson, Hon. Patience Kadiri as Vice Chairperson, and four other members.
The Okuokpellagbe expressed confidence in the capacity of the newly appointed officials, stating that “each appointed individual brings unique talents and perspectives that will help us grow and thrive together.”
