The return of former gubernatorial candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, Rt. Hon. David Emmanuel Ombugadu, PhD, to the All Progressives Congress (APC) has sent shockwaves of excitement across Nasarawa State, underscoring his deep-seated connection with the people. This move is seen as a strategic masterstroke, consolidating the party’s position and uniting various factions under one umbrella.
With Ombugadu’s massive following and widespread popularity, the ruling party is poised to sail smoothly to victory in future elections. Many pundits hail this move as a shrewd political decision, likely to benefit both the party and Ombugadu himself.
As the party welcomes Ombugadu, a former member of the House of Representatives who represented Akwanga/Nassarawa Eggon/Wamba Federal Constituency between 2011 and 2019, it appears to be a win-win situation, with the APC now better positioned to achieve success.
