The Igala community in Agbarho, Warri, Delta State, is reeling in shock and anger over the brutal murder of Nasiru Eneojo, a young man who went missing on June 29, 2024. His severed body was later discovered, sparking outrage and demands for justice.
“This is a heinous act that must be thoroughly investigated and prosecuted,” said Mr. Abraham Thomas, brother of the deceased. “We appeal to the Inspector General of Police, the Delta State Commissioner of Police, and the general public to ensure that justice is served.”
Despite efforts by the police, allegations of complicity and cover-up have marred the case. Identified perpetrators, including a task force officer and community chiefs, remain at large, with the police seemingly reluctant to arrest them.
The community is united in their demand for justice, declaring, “WE DEMAND JUSTICE FOR NASIRU ENEOJO!” The memory of Nasiru Eneojo will not be forgotten, and his family and community will continue to seek truth and accountability.
The Inspector General of Police is urged to uncover the truth behind this outrageous human sacrifice and ensure that those responsible face the full weight of the law.
