Philanthropic Giant, Ogwu James Onoja SAN, Donates N100,000,000 Scholarship

Legal luminary, Elder (Chief) Dr. Ogwu James Onoja, SAN, has made a significant contribution to the educational sector by donating a whopping N100,000,000 scholarship fund.
Elder Onoja, who also holds the chieftancy title of Agenyi Ata Igala, (Okooolo) announced the donation at United Envangelical Church (UEC), Ofanto, Ogugu, Olamaboro local government of Kogi State, to herald his ordination as a Deacon of the Church in appreciation of his commitment to spreading the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ through his resources.
This generous act has been described as a testament to his commitment to giving back to the community and empowering future generations.
As a distinguished lawyer with a stellar career spanning over three decades, Dr. Onoja has consistently demonstrated his dedication to the betterment of society.
His impressive credentials, including being a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (FCIArb), are a reflection of his hard work and expertise.
Dr. Onoja’s philanthropic efforts are not limited to this recent donation. He has been actively involved in various charitable initiatives, including supporting the Igala Heritage Foundation and the Ojuju Agbadufu Igala.

Dr. Onoja holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) degree from the University of Jos, a Bachelor of Laws (BL) degree from the Nigerian Law School, a Master of Laws (LL.M) degree from the University of Lagos, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) and Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Calabar. He is the Principal Partner of O.J. Onoja & Associates, a leading law firm in Nigeria.
