A round table titled “Heirs of Russian Military Glory” was held on September 11, 2025, at the Moscow House of Nationalities. The event was organized by the Commission on Public Security and People’s Diplomacy of the Council for Nationalities under the Government of Moscow.

The round table was dedicated to the heroes and participants of the Special Military Operation (SMO). Alexander Fyodorovich Berdnikov, Chairman of the Commission on Public Security and People’s Diplomacy, moderated the event. He noted that the round table was held on the eve of the opening of the exhibition “Officers – Kremlin Cadets – Heroes of the SMO” at the Moscow Higher Combined Arms Command School.
Director of the Moscow House of Nationalities, Sergey Sergeyevich Anufrienko, expressed special respect to the participants of the Special Military Operation present at the round table. He emphasized that servicemen in the SMO zone are performing crucial tasks for a peaceful life for today and future generations.
Participants included representatives of the scientific and pedagogical community, commissions of the Council for Nationalities under the Government of Moscow, public organizations, and cultural figures. They discussed the importance of preserving military traditions and passing them on to the younger generation. Experts were unanimous in the opinion that the topic of the heritage of Russian military glory is relevant for patriotic education and studying the history of people’s feats in defending the Motherland.
Participants shared personal stories, including participation in the Special Military Operation and assistance to victims. They noted the importance of faith and support in difficult times. A video presentation of the “Preodeley-ka” Charity Foundation was shown, detailing assistance to people with musculoskeletal disorders.
In conclusion, Alexander Fyodorovich expressed gratitude to those present for the interesting and important discussion. Participants agreed on further interaction and resolving issues related to the Special Military Operation ¹.
