Salah Commits Future to Liverpool with New Long Term Deal

Mohamed Salah has signed a new contract with Liverpool, confirming he will remain at Anfield beyond the 2024–25 season.

The agreement puts an end to speculation over his future and delivers a major boost to the club as it prepares for the next chapter under incoming manager Arne Slot.

The 32-year-old forward, who joined Liverpool from Roma in 2017, is currently enjoying one of the most productive seasons of his career. He has scored 32 goals in 45 games across all competitions this campaign, including 27 in the Premier League, which makes him the league’s top scorer. On top of that, he has assisted 22 goals, showing his consistent all-around contribution.

Salah’s decision to stay comes at a crucial time for Liverpool as they aim to challenge for silverware again after a transitional period. With the new deal signed, the Egyptian star is expected to remain at the heart of the team’s plans as the club works to rebuild and compete at the highest level.

Since arriving on Merseyside, Salah has firmly established himself as one of Liverpool’s greatest players. He is currently third on the club’s all-time scoring list, with 243 goals in 394 matches. His goals and assists have helped the Reds secure seven major titles, including the Premier League and UEFA Champions League.

Over his career at Liverpool, he has picked up numerous individual awards. These include three Premier League Golden Boots, two PFA Players’ Player of the Year trophies, and two FWA Footballer of the Year honours.

Salah’s continued presence will offer both stability and leadership as the team transitions into a new era. His long-standing connection with the fans and unwavering performances on the pitch have made him a symbol of the club’s recent success.

The forward says he’s still enjoying his football and life at the club, and he believes there’s more to come. With his new contract in place, supporters can look forward to more iconic moments from one of the most celebrated players in Liverpool’s history.
