Pastor Samuel Omajali, the Taraba State Overseer of Deeper Life Bible Church, has urged believers to “flow with the spirit” during these perilous times. In his Sunday message, he emphasized the importance of seeking divine guidance in the face of uncertainty.
“We are living in the very last days of this generation,” Pastor Omajali warned. “We see a lot of things happening that are unthinkable, that’s why we need the spirit to guide us in whatever step we take, on where to move and where to go.”
He noted that the current era is marked by darkness, requiring believers to rely on the spirit for direction. “Jesus said that in the last days, there will be wars, kidnappings, killings, hunger, diseases, hatred amongst others, all those things are being fulfilled already,” he said.
Pastor Omajali also highlighted the need for selflessness and gratitude, encouraging parents to show love to their children and urging members to look beyond tribal differences. “None of us will be left on this earth because of the things of this world, when the trumpet sounds,” he cautioned.
Regarding the recent youth protests, Pastor Omajali advised, “Protest is good, but I advise that dialogue should be the best way rather than embarking on protest.”
His message, titled “Flowing with the move of the Spirit in the Last days,” emphasised the importance of faith and obedience in navigating these challenging times. “God is waiting for people that will flow with the spirit, for the spirit doesn’t make mistakes,” he said.
