Senator Echocho Facilitates Location Of NDLEA Area Command Office In Anyigba

In a bold move to tackle the growing menace of drug and substance abuse, Senator Isah Jibrin Echocho, representing Kogi East Senatorial District, has successfully spearheaded the establishment of a National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) Area Command Office in Anyigba, in Dekina Local Government Area of Kogi State.

This landmark achievement is poised to significantly enhance the fight against drug abuse, leveraging the expertise and resources of the NDLEA to address the pressing concerns affecting families and communities.

The NDLEA has expressed its heartfelt appreciation for Senator Echocho’s proactive initiative, emphasizing the critical importance of collaborative efforts in combating drug abuse. With the establishment of the new Area Command Office, the agency has pledged to intensify its efforts to curb the incidence of drug abuse, leveraging its presence in Kogi East to make a meaningful impact.Lending his voice, Alhaji Shuaibu Okolo, the Ogohi of Anyigba, commended Senator Echocho’s foresight in selecting Anyigba as the site for the NDLEA command center. The strategic location, with its high population density and economic activity, underscores the need for concerted action to tackle drug abuse effectively.

To ensure prompt presence, the senator has donated a full building with furnished amenities to the NDLEA Area office in Anyigba.
