Senator Isah Jibrin Echocho, representing Kogi East, marked New Year’s Day with acts of compassion by visiting hospitals and orphanages across his senatorial district.
During the visits, he offered cash, consumables, and assistance with medical bills to ease the burdens of the less privileged.
The senator, represented by Ismaila Yakubu, emphasized his commitment to serving his constituents in all circumstances.
“Even in their dire needs, it is my responsibility to identify with them. We shall stand by the people either in good or trying times,” Yakubu said, conveying Echocho’s message.
Hospitals that benefited from the outreach included General Hospital Dekina, General Hospital Idah, and General Hospital Ankpa.
Patients in these facilities received cash donations, essential supplies, and relief through the payment of medical bills.
Similarly, several orphanages across the senatorial district were touched by the senator’s generosity.
God’s Will Orphanage Ministry in Anyigba, God’s Will Orphanage in Idah, Orphanage Home Otutulu, and Ojokideju Orphanage Home in Ankpa were among those visited.
They received cash donations and consumables to support their operations.
