In a heartwarming ceremony, the public affairs analyst, Comrade Ameh was on Sunday, June 30, 2024 honoured with the prestigious Pillar Icon Award for his selfless service and dedication to the Church and humanity.
“To the glory of God, I am sincerely conferred with the Pillar Icon Award!!!”, Comrade Ameh exclaimed in his acceptance speech. “My life has been synonymous with working in the vineyard of God, organisation of events, and public relations.”
Comrade Ameh reflected on his journey, which began 17 years ago as Chairman of the Church Council of Church of Annunciation Kpaduma Asokoro, Abuja. He recalled the challenges and triumphs, including the formation of the Catholic Men Organization (CMO) and the Catholic Women Organization (CWO).
“This award is a testament to the fact that our little efforts have fantastically blossomed and are being appreciated,” [Name] said, expressing gratitude to the CWO, the Parish Priest, and his family.
He dedicated the award to his late mother, Mary Ameh, and reiterated his commitment to serving God and humanity.
