The Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Electronic Media, Janet Ovayoza Samuel, has extended heartfelt condolences to the Executive Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, following the passing of his beloved father.
In a condolence message, Samuel prayed for the deceased’s soul to rest in Aljannah Firdaus and for the family to find fortitude during this difficult time. She described the late father as a remarkable individual who instilled valuable lessons, humility, and contributions to humanity, noting that his legacy will live on through Governor Ododo and future generations.
“We take solace in the fact that the late Alhaji Ahmed Momohsani Ododo laid an excellent foundation for his children, as reflected in your exemplary leadership,” Samuel said, echoing sentiments similar to those expressed by other dignitaries who have offered condolences to the governor.
Other notable figures who have extended condolences include the Executive Secretary of the Kogi State Office for Disability Affairs, Hon. Yakubu Nazir Abdulhakeem, who prayed for the Almighty Allah to grant the family patience and fortitude during this difficult period.
Former Governor Yahaya Bello also sent a condolence message, describing the late patriarch as a man who lived a fulfilled life devoted to God, community, and humanity.
The Northern States Governors’ Forum, led by Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya of Gombe State, conveyed their heartfelt condolences to Governor Ododo, urging him and his family to take solace in the noble legacies left behind by their late father.
The Nigeria Governors’ Forum also commiserated with Governor Ododo, praying for Allah to forgive the shortcomings of the deceased and grant him Al-Jannah Firdaus.
