Taraba State Governor Agbu Kefas has extended his warmest felicitations to Muslims across the country on the occasion of Eid-El-Kabir.
In a statement, Governor Kefas urged Muslims to reflect on the nation’s challenges while celebrating God’s goodness in their lives.
“As we celebrate this year’s Eid-El-Kabir, I urge everyone to pray for our leaders as they steer the ship of state,” Governor Kefas said. “This moment calls for sober reflection on our nation’s perils, and I encourage the Muslim ummah to deeply emulate the virtues of patience, devotion, obedience, sacrifice, love, tolerance, peace, and patriotism.”
Governor Kefas emphasized the need for citizens to come together to build the state, saying, “This administration will continue to be fair to all sides, and I call on all to join hands in building Taraba State. Let us uphold the love for one another, decency to all, and respect for other people’s way of life.”
The governor reiterated his administration’s commitment to peace, unity, and progress, promising to continue supporting security agencies to rid the state of criminality.
He commended traditional rulers for their collaboration in the quest to make Taraba great again, saying, “The work they do, alongside religious leaders, has helped in expanding the delivery of the dividends of democracy across the state.”
