The Press Conference by Self-Proclaimed Elites Group: The Joke of the Century

The Press Conference by Self-Proclaimed Elites Group: The Joke of the Century

The recent press conference held by a group of self-proclaimed “elites” from Kogi East, targeting Distinguished Senator Sunday Karimi, has left many scratching their heads in amusement. The event, which was supposed to be a show of strength and dissent, ended up being the most laughable news in Kogi today, simply because of the characters involved.

Who are these people, and what makes them think they have the credibility to speak on behalf of the good people of Kogi East? The questions are echoing in the minds of every well-meaning citizen of Kogi East, and the answers are far from convincing. These individuals, who claim to be leaders, are nothing but mere political traders, always on the lookout for the highest bidder. They’re not driven by a desire to serve, but by a hunger for personal gain.

It’s laughable, really, that these individuals have the audacity to call themselves “elites”. Elites? Really? What makes them elites? Is it their questionable character? Their lack of integrity? Or their abysmal track record of failure at the polls? The answer is clear: they’re not elites, they’re simply political jobbers, looking for a quick score.

The people of Kogi East are not blind, and they’re not stupid. They see through the charade, and they’re not impressed. In fact, they’re downright disgusted by the blaudity of these individuals, who have never won an election in their lives. Not even a councilor seat. They’re like the proverbial “also-rans”, always on the fringes, always shouting from the sidelines, but never actually achieving anything.

The good people of Kogi East are not timid, and they’re not afraid to speak their minds. They’re happy with Senator Sunday Karimi’s comments, and they’re going to align with him, because they know he’s a leader who has their best interests at heart. They’re not going to be swayed by the empty rhetoric of these charlatans, who have nothing to offer but empty noises and half-truths.

Senator Karimi is a leader who has shown courage and conviction, and the people of Kogi East appreciate that. He’s a man who has taken bold steps, and has not been afraid to hold the bull by the horn. And the people are with him, every step of the way.

So, to these self-proclaimed “elites”, we say: you’re not fooling anyone. You’re just a bunch of desperate, attention-seeking individuals, who will stop at nothing to get what you want. But the people of Kogi East are watching, and they’re not impressed. You’re not going to derail the progress of Kogi East with your petty squabbles and ego-driven antics. The people will always prevail, and will align with good leaders from other zone’s.

The good people of Kogi East are happy to align with any leader who will restore Kogi East and Kogi state to its former glory, not those responsible for the state’s decaying development.

Umar Isah writes.
