President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has praised Hon. James Abiodun Faleke for his dedication to true federalism, financial prudence, anti-corruption initiatives, transparency in public procurement, and youth empowerment as he marked his 65th birthday.
In a statement released Tuesday by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, President Tinubu acknowledged Faleke’s enduring service as a member of the House of Representatives for the Ikeja Federal Constituency since 2011.
The President highlighted Faleke’s steadfast loyalty and invaluable contributions over the past two decades, including his pivotal role in the Renewed Hope administration’s successful 2022–2023 presidential campaign, where he served as lead strategist.
“Hon. Faleke’s leadership and strategic skills were instrumental in securing our electoral victory,” Tinubu said. He also commended Faleke’s earlier service as chairman of the Ojodu Local Council Development Area (2003–2011), noting his positive impact on grassroots governance.
President Tinubu lauded Faleke, a senior member of the House of Representatives, for his incisive interventions in national discourse, particularly in advancing federalism and governance reforms.
“His extensive experience in the National Assembly and his various leadership roles have greatly benefited Lagos and Nigeria as a whole,” Tinubu added.
The President prayed for continued health and strength for Faleke, expressing hope that he will have more opportunities to serve the nation.
