Tinubu Names Wike, Keyamo,  Umahi As FCT, Aviation, Works Ministers Respectively

President Bola Tinubu has released the names of his ministers and their portfolios, with former Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike, named as the FCT Minister; Festus Keyamo as the Minister of Aviation; Coordinating Minister of Health and Social Welfare, Ali Pate.

The President directed his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, to disclose this to State House correspondents on Wednesday at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

The Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy is Wale Edun; the Ministry of Works is headed by Sen David Umahi; Defence is Abubakar Badaru; Minister of State for Defence is Bello Matawale.

The Minister of Communications, Innovation, and Digital Economy is Bosun Tuani; Minister of State for Environment and Ecological Management is Ishak Salaco.

Minister of Marine and Blue Economy is Bunmi Tunji; Minister of Power is Adedayo Adelabu; Minister of State for Health and Social Welfare is Tunisia Alausa; Minister of Solid Minerals Development is Dele Alake; Minister of Tourism is Lola Ade-John; Minister of Transportation is Adegboyega Oyetola.

Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development is Festus Keyamo; Minister of Industry, Trade, and Investment is Doris Anite; Minister of Innovation, Science, and Technology is Uche Nnaji; Minister of State for Labour and Employment is Nkiruka Onyejeocha; Minister of Women Affairs is Uju Kennedy; Minister of Youth is Abubakar Momoh; Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation is Betta Edu; Minister of State for Gas Resources is Ekperikpe Ekpo.

Minister of State for Petroleum Resources is Heineken Lokpobiri; Minister of Sports Development is John Enoh; Minister of the Federal Capital Territory is Nyesom Wike; Minister of Art, Culture, and the Creative Economy is Hannatu Musawa; Minister of Defence is Mohammed Badaru; Minister of State for Defence is Bello Matawalle.

Minister of State for Education is Yusuf T. Sunumu; Minister of Housing and Urban Development is Ahmed M. Dangiwa; Minister of State for Housing and Urban Development is Abdullah T. Gwarzo; Minister of Budget and Economic Planning is Atiku Bagudu; Minister of Environment and Ecological Management is (Kaduna).

Minister of State for the Federal Capital Territory is Mairiga Mahmud; Minister of State for Water Resources and Sanitation is Bello M. Toronto; Minister of Agriculture and Food Security is Abubakar Kyar; Minister of Education is Tahir Maman; Minister of Interior is Sa’Idu A. Alkali; Minister of Foreign Affairs is Yusuf M. Tuggar.

Minister of Police Affairs is Ibrahim Geidam; Minister of State for Steel Development is U. Maigari Ahmadu; Minister of Steel Development is Shuaibu A. Audu; Minister of Information and National Orientation is Muhammed Idris.

The Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice is Lateef Fagbemi; Minister of Labour and Employment is Simon B. Lalong; Minister of State for Police Affairs is Imaan Sulaiman-Ibrahim; Minister of Special Duties and Inter-Governmental Affairs is Zephaniah Jisalo; Minister of Water Resources and Sanitation is Joseph Utsev; Minister of State for Agriculture and Food Security is Aliyu Sabi Abdullahi.

The Presidency also disclosed that the retreat for the ministers will be held before their official inauguration next week Wednesday at the Council Chambers of the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

Additionally, the Ministry of the Niger Delta has been moved to the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF).
