In a recent announcement, President of the Senate, Sen. Godswill Akpabio, revealed that the National Assembly will hold a special session on June 12 to honour Democracy Day. President Bola Tinubu is expected to attend this significant gathering.
Akpabio shared this information as senators resumed following a two-hour recess. He also mentioned that Senate Leader, Senator Opeyemi Bamidele, Senate Minority Leader, Sen. Abba Moro, and Chairman of Senate Services, Sen. Sunday Karimi, will collaborate with their colleagues in the House of Representatives to finalise the agenda for the upcoming session.
