President Bola Tinubu has urged African countries to tap into their resources and capacity to drive development.
Speaking in Abu Dhabi during the ongoing Sustainability Week, he noted the importance of improving trade and partnerships within the continent to benefit its people.
Tinubu arrived in Abu Dhabi at the invitation of UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
The event, themed “The Nexus of Next: Supercharging Sustainable Progress,” runs from January 12 to 18 and gathers global leaders to discuss sustainable growth.
The Nigerian leader is expected to deliver a speech focusing on his government’s reforms in energy, transportation, public health, and economic policies.
Additionally, Tinubu and his team plan to engage in discussions with UAE officials to strengthen bilateral ties and explore new opportunities for economic cooperation.
