Turkiye has strongly condemned Israel’s latest military offensive in Gaza, calling it a new escalation in what it describes as a “genocide policy” by the Israeli government.
The Turkish Foreign Ministry issued a statement on Tuesday, warning that Israel’s actions violate international law and pose a serious threat to regional stability.
Ankara accused Israel of disregarding humanitarian values and worsening tensions at a time when global efforts are focused on peace. The ministry stated that the violence is pushing the region deeper into crisis and that allowing Israel to continue its attacks unchallenged is unacceptable.
Turkiye urged the international community to take decisive action, calling for an immediate ceasefire and increased humanitarian aid to Palestinians. It reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the Palestinian people and working toward long-term peace in the region.
Local authorities in Gaza reported that over 322 Palestinians were killed or remain missing within a five-hour period as Israeli forces intensified their attacks. The situation has fueled growing international concern, with Turkiye leading calls for urgent intervention.
