The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has introduced a new initiative allowing content creators to live and work in the country for up to 10 years.
This move aims to attract writers, filmmakers, photographers, and digital influencers to join Dubai’s creative scene.
The Golden Visa provides long-term residency, with the option for renewal as long as eligibility requirements are met.
It offers more flexibility than standard work permits and doesn’t require a national sponsor.
To qualify, content creators must show a successful history of impactful work and recognition in the creative field.
They must also demonstrate ongoing growth and engagement with their audience.
Applicants already holding a UAE residence visa need to cancel it before applying.
The visa application process is managed by Creators HQ.
Interested individuals can submit their applications online, after which eligible applicants will receive a nomination.
Following this, they must submit personal documents, undergo a medical test, and complete the final steps to print the visa and collect their Emirates ID.
Dubai’s favourable tax-free environment, infrastructure, and expanding digital community make it an attractive location for content creators.
This new visa offers the chance for creators to focus on their careers without the worry of frequent visa renewals.
