The University of Calabar has extended the deadline for its 2025 and 2026 admission exercise to November 17, 2025. The extension follows a directive from the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board.
The information was contained in a circular issued by the Registrar, Dr Chukwuka Icha. According to the notice, suitably qualified candidates who scored 150 and above in the 2025 UTME can still apply for admission into the Faculty of Agriculture and the Faculty of Education.
The circular also announced openings in the Department of Religious and Cultural Studies, the Department of Modern Languages and Translation, the Department of Mathematics and the Department of Statistics.
It added that the extended admission window applies only to the listed programmes. Other programmes are currently not available for admission.
