The Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission (NCPC), Bishop Stephen Adegbite, has enjoined spiritual leaders to uphold President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, his team, and Nigeria in prayer for economic growth.
Adegbite also urged security agencies to build strong synergy to fight terrorism, banditry, and kidnapping in the country.
The Executive Secretary said this while congratulating President Bola Tinubu and Nigerians for 26 years of unbroken democracy.
Adegbite noted that Nigeria’s steady and workable democracy since 1999 is a feat worth celebrating.
He urged Tinubu to continue ensuring Nigerians reap the dividends of democracy through his Renewed Hope Agenda.
The NCPC boss also admonished Nigerians to have faith in God and the present administration for guidance and direction.
He further enjoined spiritual leaders to uphold the President, his team, and Nigeria in prayer for economic growth. Additionally, he urged security agencies to build strong synergy to fight terrorism, banditry, and kidnapping in the country.
Bishop Adegbite expressed optimism that despite challenges, Nigeria will soon overcome them.
He emphasised the importance of faith and prayer in guiding the nation.
