Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen has reportedly been offered a staggering N1.3 billion per week by a Saudi Arabian club, Al Ahli, to join their team.
According to reports, Al Ahli previously filed a €65 million transfer offer for the Napoli star. The Saudi Pro League club is said to be willing to pay Osimhen a massive sum to outbid other interested clubs, including Juventus.
The offer has sparked interest in whether Osimhen will prioritise sporting ambition or financial gain. Juventus, who have identified Osimhen as a primary transfer target, may find it challenging to compete with the lucrative offers from Saudi Arabia.
Napoli might prefer selling Osimhen to a club outside Italy, and the Saudi club’s proposal could tempt both Napoli and Osimhen.
Osimhen’s current salary at Napoli is approximately ₦4.8 billion per year, with a weekly salary of around ₦92.6 million. The Saudi club’s offer would significantly increase his earnings. Osimhen has reportedly given Al Ahli conditions before accepting a move to the Saudi Arabian club.
