Nyesom Wike, minister of the federal capital territory (FCT), has flagged off the construction of a 632-bed hostel project at the Nigerian Law School, Bwari campus, Abuja.
Speaking at the event on Monday, Wike said President Bola Tinubu has also approved the construction of a new auditorium at the law school campus.
According to the FCT minister, the additional auditorium was not initially part of the plan but was approved by the president following a conversation about the school’s infrastructural needs.
“When I discussed it with my son, who was recently called to the bar, he told me that even with the new hostels, the existing auditorium may not take all the students. I raised this with Mr President last night, and he directed that another auditorium should be built for the Nigerian Law School,” he said.
Wike commended President Tinubu’s swift response, describing it as “leadership at work”.
