Yuletide: IPAC Felicitates With Christians, Urges Prayer, Tolerance, And Peace

National Chairman of Interparty Advisory Council, IPAC, Hon. Yusuf Mamman Dantalle.

By Omonu YG Nelson

The Inter Party Advisory Council (IPAC) has extended warm wishes to all Nigerians, particularly Christians celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ. In a statement, IPAC emphasized the importance of emulating the values exemplified by Jesus: love, peace, unity, and tolerance.

IPAC’s National Chairman-elect, Alhaji Yusuf Dabo Dantalle, urged Nigerians to use this Christmas season as an opportunity for reflection and action. He encouraged everyone to join in fervent prayer for the nation, particularly in light of the current security and economic challenges. IPAC believes that collective hope and faith can help overcome adversity and build a stronger, more equitable Nigeria.

IPAC’s message resonates with the Nigerian Constitution itself. Highlighting Article 14(2)(b), which enshrines the security and welfare of the people as the primary purpose of government, IPAC urges leaders at all levels to translate this principle into tangible change. The Council underscores the need for action that delivers concrete “dividends of democracy” to alleviate the sufferings of everyday Nigerians.

As the umbrella body for all registered political parties, IPAC pledges to continue its vital role in strengthening and deepening democracy in Nigeria. The Council’s unwavering commitment to a “strong, equitable, prosperous and just democratic nation” offers a beacon of hope in these challenging times.

IPAC hopes that this Christmas will not only be a season of merrymaking but also a springboard for collective action. The Council believes that the spirit of unity and shared responsibility can guide Nigeria towards a brighter future for all its citizens.

Let us all embrace the values of love, peace, unity, and tolerance this Christmas season and work together to build a better Nigeria for everyone.
