The Gubernatorial Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP), Taraba State, Senator Emmanuel Bwacha, has officially unveil his Deputy Engr Aminu Zakari to his supporters at his campaign headquarters in Jalingo.
Briefing Journalist after the ceremony, Bwacha revealed that, the selection of Zakari was painstakingly done in consideration of serious consultations with relevant stakeholders.
Senator Bwacha dismissed fears from certain quarters about possible rigging of elections by the incumbent government using government apparatus, describing it as waste of energy. After all the Glory of God has left them since.
The PDP candidate insisted that, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu remains the unbeatable candidate in the 2027 elections following strategic reforms with direct bearing on the people.
He urged electorates to vote and defend their votes against any one who may be interested in ringing them out.
“I choose Engr. Aminu Zakari not because it was politically convenient, but because leadership must always place competence above convenience, character above connections, and service above self.
“His record of public service, professional excellence, and unquestionable integrity represents the future we seek to build. His presence on this ticket sends a simple but powerful message:
“Today, we take a step towards liberation as we unveil Engr. Aminu Zakari as my running mate in the forthcoming guber election.
“The future cannot wait. If we continue to tell our young people they are the leaders of tomorrow without trusting them with responsibility today, then tomorrow will forever remain out of reach – he said.
Earlier, supporters trooped out to welcome Senator Emmanuel E. Bwacha, and his running mate, Engr. Aminu Zakari.
The reception attracted a diverse crowd of party faithful, youths, women groups, and prominent political stakeholders from across the state’s 16 local government areas.
Speaking on behalf of the gathering, party leaders noted that the overwhelming turnout is a clear indicator of the party’s growing strength, grassroots mobilization, and the deep-seated optimism of Taraba residents regarding the PDP’s prospects at the polls.
Saturday’s grand reception marks a major milestone as political momentum steadily builds across Taraba State ahead of the upcoming electoral cycle.
