The Nigerian Ports Authority says 30 ships with petroleum products, food items, and other goods will arrive at Apapa, Tin-Can Island, and Lekki Deep Sea Ports in Lagos.
The NPA, in its ‘Daily Shipping Position’ on Monday, disclosed that vessels are expected from January 26 to February 6.
It said that 20 of the expected ships would carry containers of different goods, while others would arrive with gasoline, urea, fresh fish, bulk gypsum, bulk gas, bulk fertilizer, and general cargoes.
The NPA noted that 12 ships and tankers had arrived at the Lagos ports, awaiting berthing for alkaline, container, bulk urea, general cargoes, fresh fish, bulk gypsum, bulk wheat, and empty containers.
It also stated that 22 ships were presently discharging bulk urea, crude oil, base oil, general cargoes , bulk gypsum, containers, bulk wheat, raw crude oil, and aviation fuel at Tincan, Apapa, and Lekki ports.
