In a spectacular display of academic prowess, five graduates from Prince Abubakar Audu University, Anyigba, Kogi State, have distinguished themselves by securing First-Class honors from the Nigerian Law School. The accomplished individuals are Sarah Avosuahi Seidu, Samuel Emakoji Adaji, Rukayat Mohammad, Abisola Ruth Oluwadare, and Monica Morenike Umeche.
Speaking exclusively with the University Media Team, the graduates attributed their success to a combination of God’s grace, personal commitment, and the solid foundation provided by their alma mater, Prince Abubakar Audu University.
Sarah Seidu expressed gratitude for the support of lecturers at the University’s Law Faculty and highlighted the institution’s motto, “Knowledge for Self-Reliance,” as a guiding principle for academic and personal success.
Monica Umeche praised the academic standards at Prince Abubakar Audu University, emphasizing its role in building confidence, character, and good study habits essential for excelling at the Law School.
Samuel Adaji acknowledged the University’s role in instilling self-discipline and emphasized the impact of faculty members whose teachings prepared him for the rigorous standards of the Law School.
Abisola Oluwadare commended the Law Faculty’s approach to exams, stating that it helped maintain focus and excellence throughout her studies.
Rukayat Mohammad appreciated the University’s conducive environment, facilities, and thought-provoking teaching styles of lecturers, which contributed to her success.

On Thursday, March 7, 2024, the five graduates were officially called to the Bar as Barristers and Solicitors of the Supreme Court of Nigeria, marking a significant milestone in their legal careers.
