Speaking at the event, Governor Kefas said the e-registration exercise was part of deliberate steps adopted by the APC to reposition the party and ensure that no member is excluded from its activities.

He expressed appreciation to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for taking the digital registration initiative seriously and ensuring that governors oversee the process.

Kefas further commended the National Chairman of the APC for his commitment to strengthening the party across the country.

In his welcome address, the APC State Chairman, Barrister Ibrahim Tukur El-Sudi, said the importance of the e-registration exercise could not be overemphasised, noting that it would provide accurate data on members eligible to participate in party activities and elections.

He commended Governor Kefas for responding promptly to the needs of the party, adding that the governor ensured the provision of all necessary equipment across the state to guarantee the success of the exercise.

According to him, the e-registration initiative is a strategic pillar for the future success of the APC, as it will strengthen and improve the party’s membership database.

He praised Dr. Kefas for championing the party’s modernization.

He noted that the electronic system would address past challenges with manual processes and help rebuild trust among the rank and file.

“This digital platform is designed for accuracy and fairness. It will empower our structures at the local level.
