The National Convener of the Bola Ahmed Tinubu Vanguard (BAT Vanguard), Hon. Sola Olofin, has approved the appointment of Hon. Taiwo Adebowale, popularly known as “Jante,” as the organization’s National Director of Contact and Mobilization.
The appointment is part of a broader restructuring and shake-up within the organization aimed at strengthening grassroots mobilization in support of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and all All Progressives Congress (APC) candidates ahead of the 2027 general elections. According to the leadership, members with proven capacity and experience have been appointed into strategic positions to enhance effectiveness nationwide.
Hon. Adebowale brings extensive political and organizational experience to his new role. He was an aspirant for the House of Representatives under the APC in 2023, a member of the now-dissolved APC Tinubu/Shettima 2023 Presidential Campaign Council, and a former member of the National Strategy Team of the 2011 Nuhu Ribadu Presidential Campaign Organization. He also served as Director of Operations at The Presidentstrides Magazine.
BAT Vanguard described Adebowale as a seasoned grassroots mobilizer with wide-ranging contacts across the country, noting his strong appeal among youths and women. The organization said his capacity to galvanize support aligns with its objectives of expanding grassroots engagement for the President and the APC.
Hon. Sola Olofin, who also serves as Chairman of the NSITF Management Board, assured all newly appointed officials of the organization’s full support, pledging to provide the resources and backing necessary for them to succeed in their respective roles.
