Court Orders Blord’s Remand in Prison Over VeryDarkMan Impersonation Charges

A federal high court in Abuja on Wednesday ordered the remand of Linus Williams Ifejirika, the cryptocurrency entrepreneur known as Blord, at the Kuje Correctional Centre.

Blord is charged with criminal conspiracy, impersonation, and unauthorised use of the identity of Martins Vincent Otse, the activist known as VeryDarkMan.

The case arose from charges made by VeryDarkMan, who accused Blord of utilising his image in an illegal commercial.

Following Blord’s court appearance, the judge ordered his remand to April 27, 2026.

VeryDarkMan shared a video from the courthouse, celebrating the development.

“LINUS WILLIAMS IFEJIRIKA A.K.A BLORD have been remanded at the Kuje correctional centre. He is remanded for 26 days, meaning he will be spending his Easter in prison,” he wrote.

“BLORD was arraigned today 1/4/2026 at the Federal High Court in Abuja on different count charges. As you all know, Mr Linus forged flight tickets with my name “Martins Otse” and claimed I was coming to Onitsha to join him in launching his blunt gadget app.

“He also claimed he paid me 500 million naira to be his brand ambassador. He also claimed I Martins Vincent Otse approved billpoint app. He printed a billboard with my face on it and claimed I was his ambassador without my permission. He also printed different fliers with my face on them, claiming we agreed. All of these are false.”

Legal practitioner Marshal Abubakar confirmed the remand, detailing the swift legal action.

“We bundled d guy from Awka straight to Abuja… we shall also avail him free food, free medicare, free security… if u play, u learn d hard way,” he wrote on social media.
