OPEN LETTER: Vote Me To Rescue The State – SDP Candidate, Murtala Ajaka To Kogites I SummitPost

By Omonu YG Nelson

Murtala Ajaka, the Social Democratic Party (SDP) candidate for the November 11 governorship election in Kogi State, has written an open letter to the people of the state, urging them to vote for him to rescue the state from the current administration.

In the letter, Ajaka accused the current administration of Governor Yahaya Bello of underperformance, tribalism, and nepotism. He said that the state has witnessed untold hardship, intimidation, persecution, poverty, and hunger under Bello’s watch.

Ajaka also alleged that Bello is running for a third term in order to maintain his grip on power and to amass public funds for himself. He said that Bello is one of the governors who stood against President Bola Tinubu during the APC primaries and also worked against his party in Kogi central in order to prevent Tinubu from winning the 2023 election.

Ajaka called on the people of Kogi to repay Bello and his team of failures by voting them out of office in the upcoming election. He said that the future and destiny of the state is in their hands and that they have the ability to make sure that people like Bello never get to the corridor of power again.

Ajaka presented himself as a selfless candidate who is ready to serve the people of Kogi and lead the charge for the rescue of the state. He said that he is well-equipped to solve the problems of the state and that he will be a governor of the people by the people and for the people.

Ajaka’s letter is a strong indictment of the current administration in Kogi State. It is also a call to action for the people of the state to vote for change in the upcoming election.
