A Muri Network statement obtained by SUMMIT POST NEWS on Sunday, 2nd April, 2023, Ajaka expressed deep sadness at the report of the incident and prayed for the repose of the souls of those killed while offering condolences to their families.
He further emphasised the need for the traditional ruler and the local government Chairman to come together and find a lasting solution to the problem.
“There is need for peaceful coexistence in the community,” he said.
“I cannot overlook the killings in Dekina Local government or any other part of Kogi state, I cannot do that. I am genuinely worried about the attacks in Oganenigu,” Ajaka said’
He pleaded with those affected not to retaliate in other not to inflame the problem on ground.
Ajaka urge the Chairman of Dekina local Government to work closely with Traditional Ruler to ensure the perpetrators of this crime are brought to justice.
