APC Young Leaders Summit: Minister Urges Youths to Drive Renewed Hope Agenda
The Honourable Minister of Steel Development, Prince Shuaibu Abubakar Audu, joined the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje, at the Progressive Young Leaders Summit 2024 on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, at the State House Banquet Hall, Presidential Villa Abuja.
Addressing the gathering, Prince Audu emphasized the importance of youth engagement in shaping the future of Nigeria. “I urge you all to use this summit as a platform to engage positively and come up with innovative ideas to drive the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR for a better Nigeria,” he said.

Highlighting the potential of the steel industry, Prince Audu noted, “Once revived, the steel industry will create over 500,000 jobs for Nigerians, with Nigerian youths as the major beneficiaries.” This statement underscores the government’s commitment to empowering young people and harnessing their energy for national development.
The summit, convened by the National Youth Leader of the Party, Dr. Dayo Isreal, brought together APC leaders, party stalwarts, and youths from across the country and the diaspora to discuss the theme “Shaping the Future We Want: From Restiveness to Inclusion, Action, Development.”
With the collective efforts of young leaders and the government, Nigeria’s future looks brighter than ever. As Prince Audu aptly put it, “Together, we can create a better Nigeria for ourselves and future generations.”
