The All Progressives Congress says Nigeria has a clear sense of direction with President Bola Tinubu at the helm of affairs and the party’s faithful behind him.
Specifically, the Lagos chapter of the APC, through its spokesman, Seye Oladejo, noted that any contrary opinion ignored broader national realities and overstated the country’s current challenges.
“At moments like this, statesmanship requires introspection and restitution, not grandstanding,” Mr Oladejo said.
The APC spokesman said Nigeria’s difficulties were cumulative and could not be attributed solely to the Tinubu administration.
“Many now warning of peril were active participants, sometimes architects, of policies that entrenched stagnation and economic drift,” Mr Oladejo explained.
The APC spokesman said Nigeria was undergoing necessary reforms under the Renewed Hope Agenda of Mr Tinubu’s administration.
The politician said the reforms aimed to stabilise the economy, strengthen security, and rebuild institutional credibility.
According to him, the measures required patience, sincerity, and shared responsibility from leaders and citizens alike.
The APC politician urged public figures to support constructive reforms, saying, “National progress is better served by sincerity and accountability than apocalyptic political rhetoric.”
