The Executive Governor of Nasarawa State, Engr. Abdullahi A. Sule, has been appointed Chairman of the Media and Publicity Sub-Committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC) National Campaign Council for the forthcoming Osun State Governorship Election slated for Saturday, August 15, 2026.
The appointment was announced by the APC National Secretary, Senator Surajudeen Ajibola Basiru, Ph.D., BL, in recognition of Governor Sule’s leadership qualities, strategic communication skills, and contributions to the growth and electoral successes of the ruling party.
As Chairman of the Media and Publicity Sub-Committee, Governor Sule will oversee the party’s communication strategy, media engagement, public relations, and the dissemination of campaign messages ahead of the Osun governorship election.
The committee will work closely with the APC National Publicity Secretary, Barrister Felix Morka, CON, who will serve as Secretary, alongside other prominent party leaders and stakeholders from across the country.
The APC National Campaign Council is chaired by the Governor of Imo State and Chairman of the Progressive Governors’ Forum, Senator Hope Uzodimma, CON. Other co-chairmen include Governor Mai Mala Buni, President of the Senate Senator Godswill Obot Akpabio, GCON, and Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Tajudeen Abbas, GCON.
The National Campaign Council and its various sub-committees are scheduled to be inaugurated on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, at the Transcorp Hilton Event Centre in Abuja, ahead of the Osun State Governorship Election.
