The Taraba State Chairman of Christian Association of Nigeria CAN, Rev. Dr. Williams Peter Awoshiri, has urge Christians to extend their compassion to the needy.
He stated this in his Christmas message to Christians on Christmas Day.
“As we celebrate the birth of our Redeemer, let us remember that Christmas is more than celebration it is the gift of God’s love made flesh. In a world in need of hope, may we restore Christ to the center of our hearts and homes through prayer, worship, and genuine love.
“This season, let us extend compassion to the poor, the vulnerable, and all in need reflecting the humility of Jesus’ birth.
“Let us also be agents of peace, fostering unity within our families, among fellow Christians, and with neighbors of all faiths.
He appeal for prayers and collective action for the security, peace, and progress of Taraba State and Nigeria.
“May the light of Christ dispel fear and division, and may His peace reign in our hearts and communities.
“On behalf of the Christian Association of Nigeria, Taraba State Chapter, I wish you and your families a joyful, Christ-centered Christmas. May the coming year be filled with divine protection, good health, and abundant blessings – he said.
