Cristiano Ronaldo and Rafael Nadal’s Italian restaurant, Toto, in Madrid has permanently closed after just three years of operation.
The restaurant, part of the Tatel Group, was co-owned by Nadal, with Ronaldo and Spanish basketball stars Rudy Fernández and Pau Gasol as partners. Known for its signature carbonara dish, Toto aimed to offer an authentic Italian dining experience in the heart of the Spanish capital.
The closure comes as a surprise given the high-profile names behind the establishment. Despite this setback, the group’s other restaurants in Dubai and Abu Dhabi continue to operate.
Ronaldo’s business ventures remain strong, with investments in fashion, fitness, hair clinics, and digital media. He has also hinted at ambitions to own a football club once he retires from playing.
