C’River : DG Tasks PDP Campaign Committee Ahead 2023 Polls

Former Deputy Governor of Cross River State Barrister Efiok Cobham has stressed on the need for members of the People’s Democratic Party PDP local government campaign committees to embark on intensive voter’s education in their localities and convince prospective voters cast their vote for the PDP at the 2023 to enable the party rescue Cross River and Nigeria from imminent collapse under the APC.

Barrister Cobham, who is the Director General of the People’s Democratic Campaign Organization in Cross River spoke at the inauguration of the local campaign committees for the southern senatorial district of the state held at the Calabar Sports Club on Friday

He contented that such aggressive enlightenment approach is needed to assist the electorate in making informed choices in favour of the PDP as the most viable option to the present excruciating socio-economic woe bedeviling the state and country at large courtesy of the administration of the APC

According to him”posterity has chosen and saddle you with the historic task of leading the battle to reclaim our state and restore our lost glory. The determination, commitment and quest to excel in this onerous task must supercede every personal interest”

He solicited for collaboration and assured members of befitting rewards once PDP regain power in the state and federal level in 2023.

Speaking , the Deputy Chairman of the party Ntufam Dennis Nkiri congratulated members of the committees and sued for total commitment to achieve the set target of a convincing victory for the party at the polls.

Performing the official inauguration, the Assistant PDP State Chairman South, Mr Asuquo Ekpo applauded members for their enthusiasm and charged them to be diligent and tactful in their assignments

Responding, Pastor Isoni Isoni from Odukpani expressed appreciation to the party for finding them worthy of such responsibilities and promise to execute the task diligently.

In his remark, a stalwart of the PDP and member of the election management committee Calabar Municipality, Ntufam Inok Edim expressed optimism for a resounding victory and enjoined all hands to be on deck to guarantee the attainment of set strategies.
