The Nkonib (Ikot Ansa) Qua Clan has said that the three years of Governor Bassey Otu’s administration in Cross River State have rekindled hope and restored public confidence in governance, while advancing the development and transformation of the state.
In a statement signed by the Clan Head, HRH Ntoe Paul Assim Ita, and the General Secretary, Ntufam Francis O. Effiom, Ph.D., the clan said Governor Otu has demonstrated purposeful leadership, commitment and dedication to the growth of Cross River State over the past three years.
The statement commended the administration’s efforts in revitalising key sectors of the economy, improving infrastructure, promoting peace and security, and restoring public confidence in governance.
According to the clan, the governor’s inclusive leadership style has continued to foster unity among the people of the state across political, ethnic and social divides, while his people centred policies and projects have inspired hope among residents.
The Ntoe in Council also congratulated Governor Otu on his emergence as the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress for the 2027 election, describing the development as evidence of the trust and confidence reposed in his leadership by party faithful and the people of the state.
The clan prayed for God’s continued guidance, wisdom, strength and good health for the governor as he continues to lead the state and pursue his vision of a more prosperous Cross River State.
