CSR: Sinoma Donates Materials To Aflon Digital Academy Kuje

As part of it’s corporate social responsibilities, an engineering company, Sinoma Nigeria Company LTD, has donated materials to Aflon Digital Academy, Kuje, Abuja.

Speaking at the donation ceremony, which took place at the school premises in Kuje, past weekend,the managing director of the company, Mr Geng Fengtao, explained that the gesture is in keeping with the core values of the company.

“Sinoma Nigeria Company Ltd has been adhering to it’s CNBM group’s core philosophy of “efficient use of resources to serve the construction”, keeping in mind the corporate mission of “materials create a better world.

“Today’s donation activity is to have a close communication with our friendly neighbor Aflon Digital Academy. We hope that our students here can strengthen their physical exercise and study better.”

Geng expressed the desire to have students of the school visit their factory on familiarisation visit, while looking forward to the future, where some of the students will finish their studies and join the company’s workforce.

“As well as we hope and welcome our students to visit our company and factory at any time! we also sincerely wish that our students can join Sinoma Nigeria Company ltd, to be one of us in the future, contributing to the construction of Nigeria together.”

Throwing more light on the activities of the organisation, Geng said: “we are serving the engineering construction of African countries and providing high-quality cement EPC and EPC Plus services to the world’s well-known companies such as Lafarge, BUA, Mangal and so on

“Our FABCOM factory and NMNC factory continue to create new advanced roofing materials and fiber cement board, which have been widely used in a variety of Nigeria.”

While appreciating Sinoma Nigeria Company Ltd for the gifts, Mr Emmason Obasi, the principal of the school said the management of the school was lucky to have good neighbours, who cared for the welfare and future of the children.

“Sinoma has done well with these gifts, it will go a long way in boosting the preparedness of the kids against next term. We are very appreciative of this gesture.

“Sometimes ago, the company carried out palliative work on the access road. The company has also done well in the area of security.”

Obasi described Sinoma as a leader in Corporate Social Responsibility, saying going forward, the school will sustain the collaboration with Sinoma.

Ehinola Favour (Head Girl) and Ojinga Ochindo Eleraobari (Head Boy) of the school both thanked Sinoma for the gift. They contended that the gift is a morale booster and an indication that Sinoma is socially responsible.

Amongst items donated are School bags, books etc.
