Public Relations and Strategic Communications, Department of State Services,DSS,National Headquarters, Abuja, has currently embraced changes as Adeola Oluwatosin Ajayi, assumed duty as the new Director General of the department.
Assuming duty last week, the newly appointed Director General pledged commitment to surmounting challenges confronting Nigeria’s economic, political, and security environments.
Ajayi also resumed with a pledge to refocus the Service towards covertness and study silence.
Meanwhile, DSS redeployed Peter Afunanya who was until the appointment of Ajayi served as the Director General of Public Relations and Strategic Communications.
The changes in the DSS Headquarters was made known to newsmen during a press briefing in Abuja on Wednesday, September 4.
Although it was not clear where Afunanya’s deployment would be next but he( Afunanya)expressed his commitment to the Service and the country as, while pledging to always do his best in whatever capacity he is chosen to serve.
He expressed appreciation for the opportunity to serve the country as the spokesman of the covert security outfit for the past 10 years.

He said he would continue to carry out his duty in service to the country with “love, loyalty, honour, and glory.”
