The Director General of the World Peace Organization, WPO, and Country Representative of Diplomatic Mission Peace and Prosperity, DMPP, Prof. Olumuyiwa Babalola, has extended heartfelt felicitations to Nigerian Muslims during the Eid-el-Kabir celebrations.
Babalola noted that the Eid-el-Kabir festival is a celebration of the virtues of sacrifice, love, and submission to the will of God. He enjoined Muslims to use the occasion of the Salah festivities to promote peace, love and unity in their communities and spheres of influence.
He also urged them to continue praying for the peace and prosperity of Nigeria, especially for the new government and President, His Excellency, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Babalola said, ‘’At this point, more than at any other time in our country’s history, we require the collaborative efforts of all Nigerians working together to overcome our serious challenges of development and continue to promote peaceful coexistence.
He further stressed that WPO has promised peace – driven Operations in nooks and crannies of Nigeria through her Special Advisers and Assistants on Peace Matters which is aimed to assist and support the Tinubu’s Administration.
“We are sure that with the support of all and sundry, the administration of Bola Tinubu would bring Nigeria to the limelight as one of the global reckons,” he said.”
