Dr Ramatu Aliyu has called on Nigerians to embrace unity, Progress and hope, for a better Nigeria.
In a New Year message issued on Sunday, Dr Aliyu noted that 2024 ushers in the threshold of a new chapter in Nigeria’s history.
She stressed the need for Nigerians to encourage a culture of empathy and understanding towards the attainment of peace and progress.
The message reads in part: “Dear fellow citizens, as we bid farewell to the challenges and triumphs of 2023, we stand at the threshold of a new chapter in our nation’s history.
“In the spirit of unity, let us remember that we are bound together by a shared destiny, transcending our individual beliefs, backgrounds, and political affiliations.
“In the face of adversity, let us remember that our strength lies in our ability to come together, to find common ground, and to work towards a brighter future for all.
“While our political landscape may be filled with differences, let us challenge ourselves to focus on what unites us rather than what divides us. Let us foster a culture of empathy and understanding, where differing opinions are viewed as opportunities for growth and progress rather than sources of contention.”
She therefore thanked Nigerians for their confidence in the current administration.
“I extend my heartfelt gratitude to the citizens of our great country Nigeria who have placed their trust in the present administration of President Ahmed Bola Tinubu, GCFR.
“As we embark on this new year, let us remember that our actions today shape the world of tomorrow. We have the power to leave a legacy of progress, compassion, and unity for future generations,” the message added
