Yale reportedly passed away on Friday morning, August 28, 2026, at the University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital in Maiduguri, Borno State, where he was receiving medical treatment.
His death was confirmed by one of his sons, Ibrahim Yale, who disclosed the development during a telephone interview with PUNCH Online.
Kaka Mallam Yale represented Borno Central in the Senate from 2007 to 2011 under the platform of the All Nigeria Peoples Party (ANPP).
His death comes as another major loss to the people of Borno State, particularly the Borno Central Senatorial District, where he served as a federal lawmaker.
